No. If you uninstall MS Office, Outlook Express loses its ability to spell check. To fix this problem see, for example, http://www.tech-pro.net/howto_010.html If you switch to Thunderbird (free at http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/thunderbird/) you can use the same dictionaries as in OpenOffice, but not with Outlook Express. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
