I have the GB English dictionary installed on OOo. It accepts dialogue, and
flags dialog as a spelling error.

Which dictionary would correctly use both spellings?

The only other version of English whose spelling I have needed to know is US
English. When I went to a US school, admittedly a long time ago, the teacher
would only accept dialog as correct, so I have always thought of dialogue as
British and dialog as US, with them actually being incorrect the other way
around.
