Hello Jerry, I quit using the X11 version of OpenOffice.org and installed the Aqua version. It's not yet an official release, but already quite reliable (just don't use it for production work...) There's the beta-2 http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/3.0.0beta2/ (the US_en version is http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/3.0.0beta2/OOo_3.0.0beta2_MacOSXIntel_install.dmg ) and a newer version already (m4) http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/Dev_OOO300_m4/ For problems with X11 see http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/faq/installing/X11.html Did you get X11 from your MacOS Tiger install disk? (vs 1.1.3 XFree86 4.4.0) Can't you find OOo through X11 > Window ? HTH -- Guy using dutch OOo Aqua 3.0.0 Beta-2 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and brazilian OOo Aqua 3.0.0 Beta-2 on an Intel MacBook Pro Leopard -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
