I have type a very important paper in Open Office Write and I would like to
open it in Microsoft-Word, the file is save as a ODT file but cannot open in
Microsoft-Word. How do I get the file to open up in Microsoft-Word do I save
it under a different filename or what.
When you use "Save as", select Word format from the drop down list.
Also, ensure automatic file name extension is selected If you're
e-mailing the document, you can also click on File > Send > E-mail as
Microsoft Word.
