Hi Doug,

it was already decide to perform a DB clenup - all tables that are not explicitly used by openser will be separately moved. We must provide the DB exactly as required by the openser.

everybody will be free to so his one customization on his local copy. Exception will be the tables required by the serweb (for compatibility) - there will be a second stage installation of the DB to install them.

regards.

All,

Thinking of modifying the OpenSER scripts/mysqldb.sh script, and adding some
new tables. One for example would be table that Asterisk uses to log CDR's for
calls. It can use it's own database instances, but it seems to make more sense
to put it all into one database. Would also like to add some new columns to
existig tables, such as subscriber. Does anyone have any comments as to why
this would be a bad idea? I can't think of any reason why it would cause any
problems for OpenSER if there where additional fields or tables.

Thanks,
Doug
