If the Message-Desk is SIP aware it will send out a unsolicited SIP 
NOTIFY request to the UA. OpenSER does nothing special with the SIP 
request and will apply the normal OpenSER (scripted) routing rules to 
the NOTIFY.

If you are talking about the MWI serial protocol of an old(er) 
Message-desk hardware system, then the answer if no, OpenSER does not 
support the protocol translation that would be required.
