sc.dbtext provides a limited set of commands in order to manipulate
the dbtext files.
You will need both openserctl and sc.dbtext.

Can you provide more details about the failure?
Have you been able to create the tables?

Note: sc.dbtext works ok in 1.1 release.

Hello,

I have a problem with sc.dbtext script. I understand that it is used to
create text file for dbtext to store information such as location,
address, etc. I downloaded from Openser CVS the sc.dbtext script and
replaced my current openserctl file with it. Unfortunately, it still
failed to run:

Here's the error:
/usr/local/sbin/openserctl: 463: Syntax error: Bad substitution

Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this?

Thank you.
Hans
