As I understood from your reply:

1-"php-mysql module is enough for subcriber registeration" is it correct?

2- Colud you please what its mean  "DB.php, use 'pear install DB' "

I think what you may be looking for is the php-mysql module. Make sure to get
all of the dependencies. If you want to use DB.php, use 'pear install DB'.
