Dear users,

Every year, the development team organizes a one day meeting called the
OpenTURNS User’s Day. It is held in France, near Paris, at EDF R&D, so only a
few of our international users had the opportunity to present their work
with/around/into OpenTURNS. It is a pity, as the worldwide usage of our
platform is one of the key successes of this Open Source project.

This year (the 21th of June), we have a dedicated slot for all of you that
would like to give us a feedback, in the following format:
+ everyone interested by this presentation is welcomed to send us a short
presentation (1 or 2 slides are enough, more if needed) of its most prominent
usage of OpenTURNS, including the following elements:

· Name and institution of the user

· Short description of the project for which OpenTURNS has been useful

· Short description of the main usage of OpenTURNS you have

· Any comment about the ease of use, the capabilities, the performance,
the support, the documentation and so on

· Any additional element you want
+ all the presentations will be gathered into a global presentation (nothing
cut if the size is at most 2 slides)
+ the chairman will go through this global presentation in a dedicated slot

It will greatly help us to make OpenTURNS fit your needs more closely, and it
will also help us partially secure our founding. Nothing is totally free, even
in an Open Source world ;-)!

In the probable event of too many contributions from all of you, we will have
to shorten or even skip your contribution, so don’t wait to send us your
presentation! You have less than 6 weeks left…

Cheers

Régis Lebrun
