Zitat von Arjan Schrijver <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Hi,
For my employer I would like to set up a NTP timeserver. However, this
must be done in a VPS since we don't want to use a new server for that.
While experimenting, we found that a VPS cannot set the time on its
host node. Is it in any way possible to give the VPS the rights to
adjust the time?
Kind regards,
Arjan Schrijver
Have a look at page 64 in the OpenVZ User-Guide. You have to set the
capability for the VPS to alter the system time. Be aware that this
alters the system clock of the HW-Node and therefore for all VPS
running on that node.
Regards
Andreas
