Sergej,

vzpkg is pretty broken these days.  I did see a metadata package for CentOS 5 
posted a long while ago in the forums... which was contributed.

The official pre-created OS Templates provided by the OpenVZ Project are built 
with the closed/private Virtuozzo build system.
