-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I'm running OpenVZ kernel 2.6.27.21 (from git) on Debian lenny amd64 (both HN and VEs). One VE is running a 32-bit version of Firefox 2.0.0.20, with the appropriate 32-bit library packages installed. It runs fine but is not able to access the network. All web access seems to just time out. The VE has full network connectivity otherwise. I'm running a 64-bit instance of Iceweasel in the same VE and it works. I know there are some issues with network access with FF 2 in 64-bit environments, but the suggested workaround (to disable IPv6 with a Firefox preference setting) does not help. What else could be causing this? I should mention that I'm running the same Firefox 2 version on my Debian amd64 laptop (without OpenVZ, but with kernel 2.6.31.6), where it works correctly even with IPv6 configured. That leads me to suspect that some OpenVZ-specific problem may be involved.
