Ok, I've lived without it so far, I guess I will manage in the future :) One other thing I have noticed is that openvz quotas don't work, but that is easily set in zfs itself, although it complicates things a bit, since I'll have to create a separate zfs dataset for each private area, but I don't think its anything that can't be fixed in a mount script. So far it looks really good, if it doesn't crash in the next few days I'm putting a few test servers on it.
