Ya, I gave up on the 389/Kerberos, looking at FreeIPA now.
BTW, why can't we just use LDAP???
LDAP cannot be 'just used'. It needs to be connected to (we use
Kerberos, many use SSL/TLS) and it needs the correct schema configuration.
FreeIPA uses Kerberos and LDAP.
Patches are welcome for the rest.
