After digging around I found a working solution:

  • install ovirt-engine-cli from the "nightly" repo. (it is not in stable yet)
  • ovirt-shell -u internal\\admin -p xxxxx -l http://localhost:8080/api -c (connect to the ovirt engine)
  • list vms (get overview of all VM's)
  • show disk - -vm-identifier <virtual machine name> (show all available disks for a particular VM)
