In my configuration, I added all the IP to hostname mappings to
"/etc/hosts" file in all oVirt node and oVirt engine server. Migration
worked fine for me.

Subject: [Users] OVirt Node must run on FQDN box as well?
The docs clearly state that the OVirt Engine must run on a box that
is
fully DNSed, both forward and backward. I've done that but am having
trouble connecting a Node box that is not DNSed but does have a
static
IP. Do I need to DNS the Node box as well?
As per Itamar's response this relates to an issue with the version of libvirt
that we originally released on, as I understand it even where this applies
though not having an FQDN for the node(s) only impacts migration. Not being
able to connect the node at all sounds like a different issue.
