Why don't you use latest spice guest tools? They are linked at http://www.spice-space.org/download.html . You could also follow spice-announce list @ lists.freedesktop.org. The latest tools will give you some goodies: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/spice-devel/2013-October/014789.html ;)
