Hi Didi, I can confirm that your patch works: the /etc/httpd/conf.d/ovirt-engine-root-redirect.conf file does not get created.

If needed, I can provide logs as soon as I manage to start my Engine VM again (just reported a separate bug on ovirt-hosted-engine-setup). Obviously that's just a nuisance (comment-out/remove the ovirt-engine-root-redirect.conf file, restart Apache and it works as desired): I just wanted to notify it (can open BZ# if it helps). Seems like a bug, you can try this [1] fix. A potential workaround might be to add this too:OVESETUP_APACHE/configured=bool:True [1] http://gerrit.ovirt.org/26211 If you try any of these, please report back.You might also want to open a bug for this.
