You can't make your own queries using the reports portal, but you can query directly from the ovirt_egine_history database using the API views. There are the v3_5_statistics_vms_disks_resources_usage_samples /hourly /daily views, They include vm disks usage data. And join them with the other relevant views like v3_5_configuration_history_vms and v3_5_configuration_history_vms_disks. We also plan on adding in 3.6 the vms disk usage including templates and snapshots.
