I would open a bug against that. Having katello be slow should not stop your
tree from loading. It should load the tree with maybe the errata icon missing
or indicating that it is still loading.
I understand what's happening! CentOS 7.2 was released this day and my
syncing repositories make my katello vm slow!
If you press ctrl-shift-i on most browsers it will open the developer
mode. If you then switch to the network tab right before logging in. it
will show you the network requests to the backend. I am attaching an
example from Chrome. In which I filter on XHR requests only. The system
tree one is grouped like shown in the example. I am suspecting for your
situation one of them takes a long time.
