Hi Cam, The reason why it works in RHEL 6.7 clients is due to the fact that version of virt-viewer that is supplied with it, doesn't support the mechanism to check for the minimum required version.
Wasn't aware we can modify the versions we require through RemoteViewerSupportedVersions config. Michal - thanks for the hint.
