Unfortunately, we are currently unable to modify a network name while it is attached to any host, and in particular, while it is used by a running VM. We even have an old feature request to allow that https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1121101 I hope we manage to implement it in time for oVirt-4.2, but I cannot promise it right now.
