It helps that oVirt engine is aware of the hosts that it is managing.  For
instance, to ensure that quorum is not lost when a host is fenced.

Yes, vdsm (and vdsm-gluster) is needed on the node

You can either add or import. Import helps when you have an entire cluster
to be added
