I know that we have a problem with that during hosted-engine initial deploy. After that, it should probably work, but is not tested. If you have a problem with that, perhaps you can give more details. If you simply want to disable because you don't like it, or some local policy or whatever, feel free to disable, and open bugs if you run into them. Even if it works, I'd still not recommend that.
