After looking at this, I hit upon something. Each machine in this cluster has two drives -- a 500gb and a 1 tb one. Each machine I was installing to the 500gb drive (going to put in bigger drives, but this was what was laying around)
I went through and looked at the machines, and the one that was failing had the 500gb drive as the second drive. Reversed them, wiped everything and reloaded.
