CEPH requires more nodes than Gluster.
Otherwise you should be able to use CEPH for storage, but integration is still 
experimental.

I know that Gluster is having issues  recently, but that's not something 
happening quite often  and the solution is quite good.
Neither CEPH or Gluster can guarantee that issues will not happen ->  that's 
why enterprises pay for support to vendors  like Red Hat, SuSE and Oracle which 
thoroughly test SDS before providing it to their customers.
