You can extend the gluster volume with your extra 3 nodes. Keep in mind that it is good to have 'backup-volfile-servers=node2:node3:node4:node5:node6' in order to allow FUSE to overcome failure of node1.

The wizard gives only the option to add 3 nodes. Is this kind of design supported? My idea is, first to set up the Gluster, then install the oVirt nodes and deploy the engine. Would this work?
