A bit more on this.

I figured out that 4.4.3 is based on Centos 8.2 and 4.4.4 is based on
Centos 8.3
Looks like the newer kernel is having
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=207489 issue.

Not sure if it's updated in the latest 4.4.5-Pre release.
