Hi Don, We basically provide backup creation and disk management. So you can use the latter to restore your backup, using: "ovirt-img upload-disk -c engine.conf <backup-file>", and then you can create a new VM with it.
"ovirt-img" comes with the latest ovirt-imageio release.
