That is a qemu bug.
Can you send the exact error and eventually the domain xml/args?

Needs to be fixed in the qemu-kvm packages.

Unfortunately I've encountered the same issue. I've decided to stay on qemu-kvm-9.0.0-4.el9 and restarted all VMs on hosts with the new version.

However, the update from 9.0.0-4 to 9.0.0-6 was flawless and did not break VM live migration.
