I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but a while ago I started a
project that allows you to view PDF documents in Eclipse using PDFBox:

I haven't touched it in a while, and I believe it's build on PDFBox 1.1,
so some of the code might need to be updated. There is an Eclipse update
site at http://pdfeclipse.sourceforge.net that contains PDFBox 1.1
packaged as OSGi bundles. You can install the bundles and build
PDFEclipse against those bundles.
