I noted a message on this discussion group about the use of Apache FOP to create PDF files.
I have adapted my current project to use FOP, and the results are encouraging. I still have the PDFBox code that can make the PDF file directly, but FOP has shown some promise. Thanks to the folks on this discussion group for mentioning this alternative. Bob Swanson
