Hi, thanks for this very fast fix. I've tested your Version 1.8.2 and my JVM doesn't crash anymore. But unfortunately, the font within the converted image doesn't contain any valid characters.
Of course, I'am very happy that my application won't crash anymore, but pherhaps PDFBox could be improved to produce better conversion results. I didn't want to grouse... Thanks.
