I guess you are talking about the changes in [1], aren't you?
I'm wondering if there are fixed plans for a release including these new
features? I tested against the tip of trunk and everything worked fine, but
I'd prefer to deploy using an official release instead of a snapshot.
We don't have any fixed plans, but I'm pretty sure that we will cut a bugfix
release 1.8.3 in a couple of weeks and I guess it should be possible to include
the changes of [1].
