I am creating annotations in Acrobat 11 (pdf version 1.6) with pdfbox 1.8.2. The output of the annotation into the pdf contains linefeeds (hex 0a) terminating the object that are not present in the acrobat-generated annotations and this is (ma be) causing an error "expected a name object" when viewing the pdfbox-created annotation in acrobat. Does anyone know how to remove these linefeeds? I'm using the .save method of PDDocument, I don't see any switches or a way to switch out COSStandardOutputSteam.
