Hi, we are currently looking at coming up with a release date reviewing the issues we have and moving the ones we will not be targeting into subsequent releases.

The easiest would be to add a patch to the issue. If you can respect our coding conventions https://pdfbox.apache.org/codingconventions.html that would be great.
