and created a solution that requires no changes, please try it. get a -SNAPSHOT version with maven, or find it here in a few hours: https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/snapshots/org/apache/pdfbox/pdfbox-app/2.0.1-SNAPSHOT/ please give feedback whether it worked.
