Hi Tilman,

What is strange is, in our case, we weren't seeing these problems with 2.0.  
Just since we upgraded to 2.0.2 from 2.0.0 while that PDFBOX-3026 indicates the 
problems across all 2.x. Not sure if there is anything to be gained looking 
into that, in running down what is causing these issues....

We had an issue about that, and I really searched and tried a lot, but wasn't 
able to find out the cause of the problem.
