I have now created this issue. Due to licensing issues, I wasn't able to upload the AGaramond font, so I've uploaded a different font instead; the problem seems to occur with all PFB fonts (at least those I have tried).
Regarding the compound characters, I loaded the font in FontForge and the "รค" appears to exist as a single glyph.
