Hello there, We are currently evaluating PDF libraries to replace our old iText library (2.1.7).
As we are working in the aircraft industry, the PDF/A standard suits our needs. Some of this PDF documents need also to be electronically signed. PDF/A-2 and PDF/A-3 is based on PDF 1.7 which refers to the PAdES<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAdES> standard. We would like to apply such advanced electronic signature to our documents but for doing that the created PDF should fullfil the PDF/A-2 conformance level. Is PDFBox able to produce (and validate) such PDFs with the PDF/A-2 (version 1.7) standard. Any advices are welcomed. Thank you for your answers, Sébastien Sénégas
