Better to start strict and loosen up down the pipeline rather than vice versa. ---- 2018-09-27 23:50:03 UTC - Sanjeev Kulkarni: @Nathanial Murphy Have you taken a look at <https://debezium.io/>? Its a common abstraction for plugging in cdc sources and getting those written to a message queue like Pulsar. Pulsar has been adding Debezium support and that might be a worthwhile direction for you to go ---- 2018-09-27 23:51:36 UTC - Nathanial Murphy: Was actually halfway through writing a connector for Maxwell - if you guys have been writing a connector for Debezium though, that's even better. ---- 2018-09-27 23:53:30 UTC - Nathanial Murphy: ergh - I'm stuck on mysql 5.1. I'll have to dig deeper to see if I can use this. I'll probs just stick with maxwell ---- 2018-09-28 04:59:03 UTC - Matteo Merli: @Nathanial Murphy with 100s of msg per sec, 1 single partition will not have any issue ---- 2018-09-28 05:33:39 UTC - Mao Geng: @Mao Geng has joined the channel ---- 2018-09-28 07:14:24 UTC - Alan Zhang: @Alan Zhang has joined the channel ---- 2018-09-28 07:48:21 UTC - lsyan: @lsyan has joined the channel ----
