event calendar owner issue? I just found the announcement for the meetup and
added it to our event calendar. Can you confirm the information on the calendar
is correct?

2018-11-29 16:30:30 UTC - Masakazu Kitajo: Unfortunately, we cannot see the
event on our event page at the moment because the URL for the calendar is
wrong. Seems like ampersands are encoded unnecessarily. (& -> &)

2018-11-29 16:31:12 UTC - Masakazu Kitajo: Can anybody fix the URL? Technically
I can, but it’s bed time :slightly_smiling_face:

2018-11-29 22:15:59 UTC - Emma Pollum: I've recently switched to using global
topics, but am having trouble with pulsar not removing topics. I've removed all
subscribers, consumers, and subscriptions. I set my retention policy to 1G and
1 hour, but still my storage usage is at 1.2 TB. How do I get pulsar to clear
out these ledgers?
----
2018-11-29 22:17:40 UTC - Matteo Merli: If the subscriptions are deleted, and
no one is connected, the topic should indeed be deleted after 1h.
----
2018-11-29 22:18:09 UTC - Matteo Merli: If that’s not the case, it would be a
bug
----
2018-11-29 22:19:23 UTC - Matteo Merli: What I’m not sure is that we have tests
covering the 2 policies together with deletion

----
2018-11-29 22:38:56 UTC - Masakazu Kitajo: Since I didn’t get any response from
anybody, I removed it from the calendar to not provide wrong information.

have the permissions on that calendar now

Would you please share some latency benchmarks between Kafka & Pulsar?
