Hello Everyone,

We are starting up a monthly blog post, that we are calling “Happenings in
the Apache Pulsar Neighborhood”, to give you an idea of what is happening
in the Apache Pulsar Neighborhood. We will highlight 2-3 things every
month and then give you some links to presentations, blogs, videos, and
other materials that your Neighbors have created. If you like the item,
please like or repost on your social media so that we all can help grow the
awareness of Apache Pulsar and our fellow residents.

In our first Happenings (link: https://bit.ly/3DPyVrE) covering September,
we talk about the 2.8.0 release, our new PMC Members & Committer, ApacheCon
‘21, some highlighted blogs, and upcoming events.

If you have found anything that you think your Neighbors would find
interesting, we have created #blogs-articles and #event-decks channels on
our slack Workspace to capture them. They have been seeded with Devin
Bost's video on "Streaming Patterns and Best Practices with Apache Pulsar
for Enabling Machine Learning and Analytics" that he recently posted to
YouTube, a link to our first Meetup with Enrico on "Leveraging Pulsar's
Next Gen Streaming Capabilities from a JavaEE Application", a link to all
of the talks that Timothy Spann has done this year, plus some blog posts.
If you haven’t joined our slack channel, go here:

Thanks,

Aaron Williams

Resident of the Apache Pulsar Neighborhood
