Now there's a thought. I do indeed have 0.8 installed and I've got my LD_LIBRARY_PATH pointing to /usr/local/lib where it's installed.
I'll have a play with that train of thought. I won't be able to try until Wednesday/Thursday but I'll report back success (yay!!) or failure (boo!!) BTW what's the "cmake build"? that's not one I've come across. is that a particular download? Thanks for the responses so far.
