I've just uploaded a set of patches to the swig wrapping of the C++
client for python that make it more of a drop-in replacement for the
qpid.messaging module.

It's not perfect, but it's good enough for our current usage. Any
comments would be appreciated--I'm new to SWIG, AMQP, and
Qpid--especially on how to get it in the next release.
PS: While working on the bindings, I found a small bug in
AddressParser.cpp. A patch is attached to the bug report:
