It appears that information is now very out of date. The source code is now available at http://svn.fedorahosted.org/svn/cumin/trunk/ and there appears to be a README with some more details on building. The console can now be configured at build time for different personas. If you are able to access IRC, you can go to ##cumin on freenode with any questions.
