proton-c/bindings/cpp/CMakeLists.txt install target qpid-proton-cpp needs
RUNTIME DESTINATION
install(TARGETS qpid-proton-cpp
EXPORT proton
ARCHIVE DESTINATION ${LIB_INSTALL_DIR}
LIBRARY DESTINATION ${LIB_INSTALL_DIR}
+ RUNTIME DESTINATION bin )
That puts the cpp DLLs in the install/bin folder
