A question about the amq.failover exchange. I have a Linux broker with a link and bridge to a windows broker. When I create the link and bridge on the Linux broker it always make a request to subscribe to the windows broker amq.failover exchange, which by default is not created. As this is simply creating a push queue route from the Linux broker to the windows broker why does it try to use the failover exchange? I had a look at the code and can see a failover bool which is not exposed (as far as I can see) to the QMF create. In some cases this has no effect in others it maybe the reason my bridge is disconnected just after creation. As a work around I could create the exchange in the windows broker but this doesn't help my understanding of the mechanics.
Both brokers are compiled from source 1.35 Cheers -- View this message in context: http://qpid.2158936.n2.nabble.com/qpid-cpp-1-35-0-broker-amq-failover-tp7652813.html Sent from the Apache Qpid users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
