I'd be happy to cut a 1.37.0 release as soon as master is in a
position to do so, I'd definitely say it is overdue. Last I attempted
it, there were some open issues which seemed like they needed resolved
first, and there are probably a couple more now that either need
resolved or someone with knowledge of the CPP bits to say they can be
