Following the instructions to build the qpid-proton language bindings for Python ( http://qpid.apache.org/proton/ and follow the link for Installing Qpid Proton), I get the following error.

On Fedora 26. Looks like the compiler needs a -pthread option. Not sure where to specify. Any help or pointers greatly appreciated.
